a quick update: i´m in Reliegos, arrived around 4pm after walking almost 10 hours under raim from Sahagun! Finally, i was able to test my rain gear - it worked well, kept dry. As for my water proof boots, I can´t say the same - got here with my feel soaking wet, socks, ankle bands, everything! There´s no dryer in the albergue so we just put old newspaper inside and hope for the best... tomorrow will have to walk on them again! I didnt´bother washing clothes today because it´s still raining... hopefully i´ll arrive in Leon tomorrow and there will be a washing machine and drier at the albergue i sleep in... today was extremely hard! when you think the worst is over, there´s a new challenge... very hard to walk more than 22 km anyway (i walked almost 29 today) but in the cold and under rain is even harder... the terrain was difficult too, lots of rocks and dirt roads which got completely muddy... puddles everywhere!

eli, marisa - today i regret having sent all my warm stuff to santiago by post... i´m cold! my jumper (the blue one eliana lent me) got a bit wet and i have nothing else! i only brought one pair of long pants which are dirty, have 3 pairs of socks - one is dirty from today, one is still a bit wet from yesterday, and the third one i´m keeping for tomorrow... might use when i go to bed tonight... but i had gloves, scarf, beanie, thermals, an extra jacket, sent all to santiago! ;(

anyway, i´ll survive! hopefully it wont´rain and be cold for too long... or i may buy a jumper in leon!

Hi again... reliegos is unimpressive at least what i can see of the pueblo... dont´dare venture too far as it´s cold, raining and i don´t have warm clothes!...

next time i´ll talk about walking alone as my credit is finishing now...

que chato isso que aconteceu em Calzadilla, espero que o hospitaleiro tome conhecimento e providências para não mais acontecer... Porque hoje em dia as notícias correm, e eles acabam perdendo peregrinos...
