I´m at the municipal and only albergue in cacabelos, arrived here at about 1.30pm after 23 km walk. Better from my hay fever, thank goodness! The walk was ok and quite beautiful, in the middle of lots of vineyards. Met the brazilians again on the way, without their packs! One of them (Rita) has caught up with her hubby and she´s going a little faster now (catching the bus at times) so she can arrive earlier and have some holidays with her husband in Portugal I think... this is kind of cheating, but again lots of people do it... i don´t, haven´t done it so far and don´t intend to unless i HAVE to for medical or other reason... anyway, to each their own... i also met the japanse girls Yumi and Sayo on the way, i keep meeting them it ´s quite funny... they are no longer surprised when they see me now... they tend to walk a bit faster and greater distances, so i usually see them the next day when i stop in the next town (where they usually sleep) for breakfast... cacabelos is ok, interesting, lots of pulperias (octopus restaurants)... the albergue is ok, the rooms are like little cubicles without windows with 2 beds, thank goodness i was with the brazilian girls so didn´t have to share a room with a complete stranger!... talking about the brazilians they went for something to eat... i don´t usually have lunch, just a snack on the way or when i arrive but then have 3 course dinner!... this afternoon we´re going to play cards, they need me to replace rita who went straight to vega de valcarce today... tonight brazil plays north korea at 20.30pm so it will be late night for me...

Might not write much more today because the internet here is really slow, the worst i found so far... it´s free but not worth bothering... will check my email and then go for a stroll around town... ciao for now, love to all, val.

Estou no albergue municipal e o único de Cacabelos. Cheguei aqui por volta das 13h30 depois de caminhar 23 km. Ótima da minha rinite, graças a Deus! A caminhada foi ok e muito bonita com muitas vinhas pelo meio. Encontrei os brasileiros de novo, sem suas mochilas! Rita está preocupada com o marido e está andando um pouco mais rápido, pega ônibus às vezes, assim, pode chegar mais cedo e ter um descanso com seu marido em Portugal, eu penso. Pegar ônibus: Isto é como uma violação de regras, mas muitas pessoas o fazem. Eu não peguei ônibus até agora, e não pretendo fazê-lo, a não ser que tenha de fazê-lo por recomendação médica ou outra coisa parecida. Mas, cada um sabe da sua vida... Eu também encontrei as japonesa Yumi e Sayo, e continuo encontrando elas, são muito divertidas. Agora não ficam surpresas quando me vêem. Elas estão caminhando um pouco mais rápido e distâncias maiores, então, costumo encontrá-las no dia seguinte, no café da manhã, quando paro no lugar onde elas dormem.

Cacabelos é legal, interessante, muitas pulperias ( restaurantes onde servem polvo). O albergue é legal, os quartos são pequenos cubículos sem janelas com duas camas. Agradeço a Deus por estar com as garotas brasileiras, assim não tenho que dividir quarto com gente estranha. Falando nos brasileiros, eles saíram para comer. Eu não almoço sempre, só um aperitivo no caminho ou quando chego no albergue, mas aí são três pratos de comida! Esta tarde vamos jogar cartas, eles precisam de mim para substituir Rita, que foi direto para Veja de Valcarce. Hoje a noite o Brasil joga contra a Coréia do Norte as 20h30, então, será tarde da noite para mim.
